ARIELLE COHEN
Librarian and Researcher
Hi! I'm Arielle
My aim as both a librarian and researcher is to provide easy access to information to all users, regardless of their end goals. I believe that the resource retrieval process should be seamless, so that users do not feel as though searching or browsing is a chore.
Taking an empathetic and user-centered approach to problem solving, I use traditional qualitative research techniques and usability testing to validate hypotheses and taxonomy decisions.
Key to this is the notion that the research process is iterative. As an information professional, I strive to keep the lines of communication open throughout every phase of a project, so as to avoid any researcher bias and develop a resource that truly serves the needs of the intended users.
